Our Dream Shoot in Paris was an epic experience.
A celebration of self.

We started the day way before the sunrise with hair and make up. Throughout the preparation we also talked about Priti’s dreams and wishes. (because formulating them, stating them and then euphorically going through the day, feeling like a star and being celebrated, sets things in motion. Trust me!)

At the sunrise we were at the tower and then photographed Priti throughout several other brilliant locations before going to a beautiful historic Paris apartment to continue our shoot inside. It was a welcomed change. We happened to schedule the session on the day a strong storm hit Paris, which in retrospect beautifully echoed Priti’s daring, expressive self in the best way possible. At the same time, it didn’t fail to turn the process into even bigger adventure. The dresses were filling up like sails, ready to lift Priti up and carry her off to Oz, the hair did its own wild dance, often covering the face and the February winds were attempting to turn Priti into an ice queen, possibly to preserve for centuries to come.

Inside the apartment, after refreshing hair and make up, we photographed some more, took advantage of the typical french balconies, royal fireplace and historic staircases and concluded our day by toasting Priti with a bottle of Moët. 

Without going into much detail: IT WAS EPIC. For Priti, for me and for my wonderful team: the make up and hair artist Regina Knaus and the brilliant videographer Anna Kaspin.

Here is what Priti writes about her experience:

I just wanted to thank you all again from the very bottom of my heart for everything you have done for me. Doing the photo shoot is quite possibly one of the best decisions I've ever made. Leading up to it, I was excited and joyful, having a child-like enthusiasm unlike any I had felt in a very long time. And then I met you. The only thing I can say is that we are soul sisters. All three of you have a way of instantly getting through the layers of insecurity we carry around and getting straight to the heart of who's underneath. I felt seen, understood, empowered, and free. Most of all I felt beautiful. Now, I look back on our time together and realize that what you really left me with was permission - permission to have a love affair with myself. I feel stronger, happier, and even more inspired since we met and for that I am eternally grateful.

I hope you all realize the impact you have through your work every day and the magic that you can make come alive for anyone.
